The Mini-Wurlitzer Bubbler is now finished. I had to power down from a 2.4GHz Pentium 4 to a 1.8 Celeron due to power issues.
This is the Wurlitzer Mini-Bubbler, an 18" replica of a Wurlitzer JukeBox, complete with neon lights and bubbling tubes. But it only has a Radio and a CD player. This is the Wurlitzer PC.
This is the Wurlitzer PC. It now has a 1.8 GHz Celeron processor, 512 MB of RAM, 120 GB HD. Wireless Internet and Wireless keyboard/mouse minimize cables.
This is the Wurlitzer in use. (The bulbs are turned off to get a better picture). Note the panel with fake buttons for selectiong songs.
The fake panel flips down to reveal the DVD-ROM
There's lots of space for the tray to open.
Everything removed from the Wurlitzer mini-jukebox except the power for the lights and bubbling front.
The DVD-ROM is on a shelf, so that it lines up with the hidden door on the front. Power Supply fits under the shelf.
The Hard Disk has to sit perpendicular to the DVD-ROM in order to fit.
Attached to the top is the USB Wi-Fi adapter. It does pick up a good signal there.
The holes that had been used for speakers, now have two fans. One blows out, one blows in. This should have great ventilation, I thought.
The bottom section has the motherboard. It's a P4Mini-ITX, anything larger wouldn't have fit. Cables have been routed as best as I could, but it's very tight.
The Bluetooth adapter (for keyboard/mouse) is attached to the top of the lower cabinet.
